Dashboard Overview
What every section of the dashboard shows.
Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a monthly snapshot of your finances. Use the month arrows in the top-left to step through past months (you can't navigate to future months).
Headline figures
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Spent | Total debits this month, excluding excluded categories |
| Budgeted | Sum of all active budgets for this month, with a meter showing % used |
| Income | Credits on non-credit-card, non-debit accounts only |
| Net | Income minus spending |
Each card shows a month-over-month change percentage. For Spent, up is red and down is green (spending less is better). For Income and Net, it's the reverse.
"N to review" badge
If anything is waiting in the Review queue, a warning badge appears next to the month picker. Click it to jump straight to Review.
Accounts
Cards for each of your active accounts, showing current balance and transaction count. Click any card to see that account's full transaction history.
Spending by Category / Envelopes
A panel showing your top spending categories with budget meters. If you use envelopes, a toggle switches the view between categories and envelopes.
Click Full report to open the spending report with full drill-down.
Daily spending
A sparkline of spending per day across the month. Useful for spotting unusual high-spend days.
Top merchants
Your 8 highest-spend merchants this month, with totals and transaction counts.
Budget progress
All your active budgets for the current period, with amount budgeted, amount spent, and remaining. Budgets that are over show in red.
6-month trend
A line chart comparing income and spending over the last 6 months. The comparison is income-account-only (same as the Income card above) vs all spending.
