Do I have to link my bank?

Satsuma works from the file your bank lets you download, plus any purchase alerts you forward. You never hand over a bank login.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Satsuma runs in your phone’s browser, with a layout made for small screens.

Which email accounts work?

Gmail and Outlook connect in a couple of clicks, and most other mail apps connect too. You can also forward receipts from any address you’ve verified.

What about paper receipts?

Snap a photo and upload it. Satsuma reads it just like an email receipt.

Does Satsuma confirm matches on its own?

It suggests, you decide. Every pairing waits for your nod.

What if a match is wrong?

Reject it, or search for the right receipt yourself. Matches you confirm stay confirmed.

Can I budget weekly?

Yes. Each budget can be weekly, monthly or yearly.

What if I import the same file twice?

Satsuma skips anything it’s already seen. If two purchases really are identical, you can keep both.

How do savings goals work?

Give the goal its own envelope with a target. Progress counts from the day you start, apart from your everyday budget.

Can Satsuma send or delete my email?

It can’t. Email connections are read-only.

Where is my data stored?

On Satsuma’s servers, tied to your account. It’s never sold or used for ads, and you can delete it anytime.

Who reads my receipts?

Satsuma does, with its own software on its own servers. They aren’t sent to an outside AI service.

Can I leave?

Anytime. Disconnect an inbox or delete your account from your settings.
