Review Card Actions
What you can do with each type of review card.
Review card actions
When a match is suggested
The card shows the transaction on one side and the suggested receipt on the other.
- Confirm Receipt & Approve — accept the match and move on. This is the common path when Satsuma got it right.
- Confirm — accept the match but stay on the card (use this if you also want to fix the category before approving)
- Reject — say "that's not the right receipt." Satsuma records the rejection and will never suggest that pairing again. You can then search for the correct receipt.
When there are receipt candidates but no auto-match
The card shows a shortlist of candidate receipts ranked by similarity.
- Click a candidate to link it — the card updates and you can then approve
- Click Find Receipt to open a search drawer and browse all unmatched receipts
Assigning a category
On uncategorized transactions, or on transactions with an auto-assigned category awaiting confirmation:
- Click the current category (or "Uncategorized") on the card
- The category picker opens
- Select the correct category
- The card updates — click Approve when ready
Approving a card
Approve is the only action that retires a card. It marks the transaction or receipt as reviewed and removes it from the queue. All other actions (confirming a match, changing a category) leave you on the same card so you can complete it before moving on.
Categorizing receipt line items from Review
When a receipt is in play (either linked or shown as the card's subject), you can categorize its line items directly from the card without navigating away.
