Does Satsuma connect to my bank?
No. Satsuma has no direct bank integration, no Plaid connection, and no Open Banking link.
Your data comes in through three methods you control:
- CSV export — download a statement from your bank's website and upload it
- Email forwarding — forward receipts and bank alerts to the two dedicated Satsuma addresses
- Email scanning — connect Gmail, Outlook, or an IMAP mailbox and Satsuma scans for receipts and bank alerts automatically
Nothing is sent to a third-party financial aggregator, and Satsuma never asks for your online banking login.
