Transaction amounts and dates come from your bank and are locked.
Why can't I edit a transaction's amount or date?
Transaction amounts and dates come from your bank statement or bank alert email and are intentionally locked. Changing them would break the deduplication fingerprint and could cause duplicate imports on your next CSV upload.
If you need to record a different figure (e.g. a cash purchase not in your bank export), create a manual transaction from the account's detail page instead.
What you can edit on any transaction:
- Category
- Notes
- Linked receipt
- Transaction splits
